THE VISION
Created under the festival theme “Psycho Killer: Born or made by society?”, the title HOMECOOKED serves as a grim double entendre. The narrative begins as a raw display of toxic entitlement, following a group of men stalking a seemingly vulnerable girl. However, the power dynamic violently flips when the predators realize they have not cornered a victim — they have been lured into a calculated trap.

“Conceptualized, shot, and completely edited in a grueling 4-day sprint, this film was a relentless test of execution. We utilized our DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for dynamic movement alongside the Canon 5D Mark IV to deliver cinematic depth under pressure.”

Step into the raw, unfiltered reality of college life. The Fall follows Swara as she navigates academic setbacks, gossip, isolation, and the pressure of being misunderstood. The film uses an ensemble cast and multiple micro-arcs to build toward a message of resilience and community.
